The event was organized by “Custommerce,” a multi-industry, non-profit movement in India to promote the importance and benefits of superior customer service. Parasuraman recently joined the organization’s Board of Advisors.
Parasuraman's appearance at the conference was reported widely by the news media in India, including NDTV, a leading television news channel in India, as well as The Hindu Business Line and DNA (Daily News and Analysis), which both published interviews featuring insight from Parasuraman on customer service.
