Senior Wins National Real Estate Industry Scholarship
July 31, 2015
A School of Business senior is one of just 10 university students across the country to win a national real estate industry scholarship. Mary Dooley, a finance and business technology major, has been named a CREW Network Scholar.
The CREW Foundation is the philanthropic arm of CREW Network, which offers scholarships, publishes industry research focused on helping close the compensation gap, along with career outreach to women and girls in commercial real estate (CRE) careers.
Currently an intern with HFF, Dooley has gained exposure to investment sales and debt placement, as well as other platforms within the firm. Upon her graduation in December 2015, Dooley's goal is to find a job where she can put her skills into practice on the capital markets side of the commercial real estate industry.
"The monetary award provided to me as a CREW Network Scholar will go a long way in regards to financing my education, but I am also very excited to have the opportunity to connect with the members locally.” said Dooley. “The access to experienced individuals across such a wide range of disciplines within the industry is invaluable, and I look forward to connecting with and learning from whomever I can."
