University of Miami Executive MBA Program Ranked Among World’s Best - and No. 1 in Florida - by Financial Times
October 20, 2014
The Financial Times has ranked the School’s Executive MBA program No. 17 among all U.S. stand-alone Executive MBA programs. The School’s program is the only Executive MBA program in Florida to make the list of the newspaper’s 2014 ranking of the world’s top 100 Executive MBA programs, released Oct. 20. The School’s program is ranked No. 65 among all programs worldwide, up seven spots from 2013.
The School was also ranked No. 47 in the world for research, which reflects the academic strength of its faculty. The research ranking is based on the number of faculty publications in leading academic and practitioner journals. The overall ranking is based on the research and other school data as well as a survey of the Executive MBA class that graduated three years ago. That survey measures how successful and satisfied graduates have been in their careers since earning the degree.
The School’s Executive MBA program, which is designed for accomplished professionals with management experience, has been offered since 1973, making it one of the nation’s longest-running programs. The School’s specialized Executive MBA programs include The Miami Executive MBA for the Americas program, designed for those doing business in the Americas; the Executive MBA in Health Sector Management and Policy program, designed for physicians and other health care professionals; and the Spanish-language Global Executive MBA program, designed for Spanish-speaking executives, particularly those in Latin America.
