School of Business Represented at National Global Asset Management Forum
April 07, 2011
This month, Danny Pollick, an undergraduate student, represented the School of Business at the inaugural Quinnipiac G.A.M.E. Forum at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. The G.A.M.E. Forum, or Global Asset Management Education Forum, is a national forum for addressing such issues as the economy and stock market, alternative investments, and corporate governance. It attracted students from across the country and featured keynote speakers representing such companies as Citi, Bloomberg, and Wells Fargo, among others.
Pollick’s participation was sponsored by the School of Business. He and other students participated in a variety of breakout sessions and workshops where they had the opportunity to discuss with other students and seminar leaders issues critical to the financial sector today. They also participated in several panels on career opportunities within the financial sector.
“The exciting aspect of these panels was the opportunity to gain unique insights on each topic from the professional experts that sat on each panel,” said Pollick.
