Top Graduating MBAs, Student Leaders and Professors Honored in Awards Ceremony

The best among the School’s MBA classes of 2014 along with their favorite professors have been honored as part of an annual MBA awards program. Awards were presented to outstanding faculty and the top graduates in the One-Year MBA, Professional MBA, Executive MBA and Executive MBA in Health Sector Management & Policy programs in a ceremony leading to their graduation on December 18. School administrators and staff joined the students, their families and friends to celebrate their accomplishments and to honor the top students with awards from their peers. 

Students who earned the highest grade point average in their class received Valedictorian Awards:

  • Pascal Bolte (Executive MBA)
  • Carlos Zarraluqu (Professional MBA)
  • Omar F. Elgamal & Brian Michael Kronberg (Professional MBA, June 2014 class, tie)
  • Lindsay A. Saelinger, Michaela M. Schneiderbauer, and Dennis C. Szurkus (Executive MBA in Health Sector Management & Policy, three-way tie) 

Leadership Awards were presented to students from each of the graduating classes. The awards recognize students who demonstrate strong initiative, commitment, passion and leadership among their peers:

  • Justin James Martin (One-Year MBA Class)
  • Pascal Bolte (Executive MBA)
  • Carlos Zarraluqu (Professional MBA)
  • Roger Carrillo (Executive MBA in Health Sector Management & Policy)


      

Students from the different programs and cohorts also honored their professors with the Excellence in Teaching Awards:

  • Tallys Yunes, associate professor of management science (One-Year MBA program)
  • Mark Shapiro, adjunct professor of business law (Executive MBA)
  • Tallys Yunes, associate professor of management science (Professional MBA)
  • Sundaresh Ramnath, Associate Professor of Accounting (Professional MBA, June 2014 class)
  • Linda L. Neider, professor of management (Executive MBA in Health Sector Management & Policy)
