A 2009 article authored by A. “Parsu” Parasuraman, holder of the James W. McLamore Chair in Marketing, professor and department chair of marketing, and Michael Tsiros, professor of marketing, has been listed in March as the No. 1 downloaded article published in the Journal of Retailing.
The article, “Customer Experience Creation: Determinants, Dynamics and Management Strategies,” has also been on the journal’s Editor’s Choice list for the past several years.
The paper proposes a conceptual model, in which the authors discuss the determinants of customer experience and the importance of the social environment, self-service technologies and the store brand.
The Journal of Retailing aims to advance the state of knowledge and its application with respect to all aspects of retailing, its management, evolution, and current theory.
