Marketing Professor Receives Top Honors

Arun Sharma, a professor of marketing and executive director of the JAE Leadership Institute, has won the Marvin Jolson Award for Best Contribution to Selling and Sales Management Practice from the Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management for his article published this year (Volume 30).
His previous work has been recognized by Industrial Marketing Managementwhich awarded Sharma the Best Paper Award for 2010 for his paper, “Sustainability and Business-to-Business Marketing: A Framework and Implications.” The paper was co-authored with Professors Mehrotra and Krishnan. Sharma was also awarded the 2011 Davidson Honorable Mention Award for Best Article by the Journal of Retailing for his article “Understanding Retail Managers' Role in the Sales of Products Versus Services” (Volume 85).
