School’s Career Services Director Honored among “Women Who Make a Difference”

The director of the School’s Ziff Graduate Career Services Center, is among five women who have been named as “Women Who Make a Difference” by the Junior League of Miami. Mary Young was recognized for her exceptional record of philanthropy in the Miami area. She co-chaired the region’s United Way campaign in 2009-2010 and has been selected as a Miami Dade “Up & Comer.” Additionally, Young was the first female Chair of the Coral Gables Community Foundation and has served on the executive committees of numerous charitable organizations and is a former president of both the Junior League of Miami and the YWCA of Greater Miami.
Young, who joined the School of Business in 2010, manages multiple aspects of career services for MBA students, including developing and implementing strategy. Previously she was with technology and consulting giant IBM for 20 years, most recently as IBM Americas Group Location leader for Miami.
