Pia Marquez is the definition of a well-rounded student.  Aside from her 3.88 GPA, this Dean's and Provost's Honor Role student double-majoring in legal studies and marketing is also active in Greek Life and a student leader.  Pia is a member of both the professional business fraternity, Alpha Kappa Phi, and the honors fraternity, Beta Gamma Sigma.

Pia has also held several leadership positions at UM, including vice president of Peer Counseling at the School of Business and has participated in several internships, most notably with University Directories, the largest on-campus marketing and media company in the country.  During the spring semester of her junior year, Pia studied abroad at the International University of Monaco.

Obviously, Pia has made the most of her experience at UM, and recognizes the unique opportunities the School has provided for her.  "Here at the University of Miami, especially at the School of Business, it's all about being at the right place at the right time," Pia says.  "It's an international community full of fun people and great opportunities."
